The burning of white sage is an ancient ritual known as smudging used for a cleansing effect in new homes. Light the stick and when it begins to emit cleansing smoke, focus on good intentions and move from room to room, rotating clockwise as you move through each room. The white sage is grown, harvested, and bundled in California. Not recommended for use by children.
