“My parents got engaged at the Salish Lodge in Snohomish, WA. 30 years later, my dad still talks about the buttermilk pancakes they enjoyed at breakfast. He swears they’re the best ‘flapjacks’ (as he insists on calling them) he’s ever had. He’s also a fanatic for real maple syrup and has been known to host “syrup tastings” when he discovers a new brand. Dad’s never been back out to Washington, so I can’t wait to surprise him with this gift. He’ll be THRILLED to try making the Salish Lodge pancakes at home and I’m sure we’ll hear about it for another 30 years!”
